The Board of Trustees and staff of Compass Learning Partnership extend their warm congratulations to our CEO/Accounting Officer, Hermann Farrington, on his appointment to a new role with the Bridge School Multi-Academy Trust.

Hermann will remain at Compass until the end of the Spring 2026 term, during which he will remain fully engaged in his duties and support a smooth and effective transition.

Since joining Compass in June 2015, and as its CEO since 2023, Hermann has made an important contribution to the growth and success of the Trust, helping to advance our vision and to uphold our values. We thank him for his leadership and commitment and wish him all the best in his new role.

The Compass Board operates a continuity plan designed to ensure the ongoing delivery of our strategic priorities, for the benefit of all of our learners and staff. In accordance with that plan, the Board (after consulting the Senior Leadership Team) will now consider proposals for an appropriate approach and period for transition, leading to the appointment of a new CEO. We will share further updates with the Compass community in due course.
