From 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect across the EU. It is a new law that is being implemented in exactly the same way across all EU countries to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the EU is secure and is processed lawfully.

Log Files

Compass Learning Partnership follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Compass Learning Partnership. GDPR STUDENT CONSENTS

Compass Learning Partnership considers the age of 12 to be an appropriate threshold at which to seek consent directly from a child. However is considered on a case by case basis given a student’s individual capacity to provide consent.

During a student’s time with us we will gather information about them which we will use for various purposes.  A Privacy Notice has been provided to students in relation to the use of this information, which is also available on the Trust and School websites.

There are some things that we cannot do unless you tell us that we can.  We have set these out in the tables attached.  Please could you read this form very carefully and tick the appropriate options.  This will let us know which of these things you are happy for us to do, and which you are not.
