It is a new law that is being implemented in exactly the same way across all EU countries to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the EU is secure and is processed lawfully.

Compass Learning Partnership follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Compass Learning Partnership does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
GDPR STUDENT CONSENTS
Compass Learning Partnership considers the age of 12 to be an appropriate threshold at which to seek consent directly from a child. However is considered on a case by case basis given a student’s individual capacity to provide consent.
During a student’s time with us we will gather information about them which we will use for various purposes. A Privacy Notice has been provided to students in relation to the use of this information, which is also available on the Trust and School websites.
There are some things that we cannot do unless you tell us that we can. We have set these out in the tables attached. Please could you read this form very carefully and tick the appropriate options. This will let us know which of these things you are happy for us to do, and which you are not.
