From 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect across the EU. It is a new law that is being implemented in the same way across all EU countries to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the EU is secure and is processed lawfully.

Compass Learning Partnership considers the age of 12 to be an appropriate threshold at which to seek consent directly from a child. However is considered on a case by case basis given a student’s individual capacity to provide consent.

During a student’s time with us we will gather information about them which we will use for various purposes.  A Privacy Notice has been provided to students in relation to the use of this information, which is also available on the Trust and School websites.

There are some things that we cannot do unless you tell us that we can.  We have set these out in the tables attached.  Please could you read this form very carefully and tick the appropriate options.  This will let us know which of these things you are happy for us to do, and which you are not.
